From travel blog to publisher

Johannes has always found it a pity that great travel stories often get lost in the noise of the Internet, which is why he conceived the Reisedepeschen blog, where a few hand-picked authors have been publishing travel stories, photos and videos that are particularly worth reading. Stories that tell something of this beautiful world, that carry away and inspire. 

After publishing another book developed from a blog (The Travel Episodes), Johannes Klaus partnered up with Marianna Hillmer and founded their own publishing house.

Books with passion

Their goal is to have more books with passion. Books that inspire to discover and travel more intensively, sink into it. Together with great authors, bloggers and designers, they create travel manuals, inspiring reading picture books, thoughtful reading books.  Their books are a joy to design and feel, because the beauty of a book is part of its message. Texts and images, paper and binding, nothing is thought alone but is a total work of art.

Sustainability

Reisedepeschen is climate neutral! All of the print products are produced climate neutral. They use only natural papers from sustainable forestry and print in Germany and the EU to keep logistics routes as short as possible. In order to avoid overproduction, both title selection and print run are planned very strictly.
