COCO Chocolatier an artisan chocolatier based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a collaborative canvas for artisans and artists alike; those who dare to disrupt, innovate and inspire. This is where creativity and cocoa collide. There is no compromise on style or substance.

Luxury chocolate handmade in Scotland - sourced in Colombia

Challenging industry norms, COCO begins the making of their chocolate at origin before passionately transforming it in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a result, more wealth remains within developing economies. 

COCO has been sourcing their product 'at origin' since 2016, beginning to collaborate with Luker - a Colombian company working with cacao farmers across the country. The cacao supplied by the farmers across Colombia is tested and, following a high-quality standard check, the cacao beans are taken to Luker’s facility in Bogotá.

In addition, COCO does not use any palm oil and source additional ingredients as local as possible, such as using salt from the Isle of Skye.

Supporting the arts

Over the years COCO has collaborated with a number of contemporary artists from all over the world (including Sir Billy Connolly, Timorous Beasties, Atelier Bingo, William LaChance, Tom Pigeon, and many more). They commission bespoke designs that they use as wrappers for our chocolates. This allows their products to look unique, and simultaneously it provides a platform for artists to showcase their work to an audience that may have never come across their art before.
